Kaylyn's 4th Birthday

Our sweet girl turned 4 on September 29th, it seems like just yesterday we were meeting a very scared little girl in China. What an amazing two years it has been. We started celebrating Kaylyn's birthday a little early with a long weekend trip to the beach. We recently discovered Gulf Shores Beach in Alabama, the beaches are beautiful. Kaylyn loves to be center of attention it is hilarious. She loves being sang to and enjoys singing happy birthday to herself. Kaylyn finally got her American Girl Bitty Twins that she has forever wanted. She loves to play with baby's.

To My Sweet Kaylyn,

It feels like just yesterday you were placed in my arms, a very frightened baby girl who wanted nothing to do with me. I has been a long road but one I would walk a thousand times over to hold you everyday. I love your strength, your determination and you have a smile that lights a room. Your sweet brown eyes disappear into slits and your rosy cheeks and toothy smile melts my heart. And I love that everyday you challenge mommy to be a better mommy.
